Jenny (Woodard) Bracewell

Jenny Woodard Bracewell, age 75, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at her home.

Jenny was the daughter of the late Walter Earl Woodard, Sr., and the late Iris Modena Malone Woodard.

Mrs. Bracewell was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and sister who loved her family.  She enjoyed gardening and flowers, fishing, shark tooth hunting, crafting, baking, and spending time with her family and friends. Jenny was an LPN serving many years in several institutions.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bracewell was preceded in death by a brother, Walter E. Woodard Jr.; sister, Janice Woodard Braswell, and  grandson, Jaime Allen Bracewell, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Roy B. “Benny” Bracewell of Dexter; son, Jaime Allen Bracewell of Brunswick; daughter, Jenny Maureen (Bo) Ramsey of Dublin; grandchildren, Hayden Bracewell, Logan Ramsey, Layla Ramsey; sister, Susie Woodard (Jim) Metcalfe of Tupelo, MS, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Jenny Bracewell will be at 1:00 PM Friday, March 22, 2024, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM at the church. Burial will be in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Jonathan Braswell, Todd Woodard, Hugh Kight, Logan Ramsey, Scott Bruckmair, and Brandon Gillespie will serve as pallbearers.
