In Memory of
Grayson Lenword McDaniel
Services for Grayson Lenword McDaniel, age 82, of East Dublin will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 11, 2010, in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Northview Cemetery. Rev. Billy Todd will officiate. Mr. McDaniel was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School Class. He was the son of the late Oscar Felton McDaniel and Agnes Vivian Mercer McDaniel. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hazel W. McDaniel, a brother, William H. McDaniel and a sister, Elizabeth J. Drew. Mr. McDaniel died Monday, March 8, 2010 at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Bessie Pearl McDaniel of East Dublin, two sons, Grayson Lenword “Lynn” (Sandra) McDaniel and Phil Roderick (Teresa) McDaniel both of East Dublin, brother, Felton (Mary) McDaniel of Rentz, two sisters, Dena Ellis of East Dublin and Anne (Glynn) Stapler of Huntsville, AL, grandson, Cale Lenword McDaniel of East Dublin, two granddaughters, Kelli Michelle Luecke and Hollie Nicole (Aaron) Barber both of East Dublin, step-sons, Rex (Darlene) Giles of East Dublin, Bill (Cheryl) Giles of Adrian and Danny Giles of East Dublin, step-daughter Shirley (Dan) Chapman of East Dublin, step-grandchildren, Christy Giles, Lori Giles, Allen and Lee Giles, Daniel and Eric Giles, Amy and Eddie Moore Ken and Kevin Edwards, Chris Haley, 22 great-grandchildren, mother-in-law, Ollie Bell Curl of Johnson County and brother-in-law, Frank Curl of Johnson County. Pallbearers will be Aaron McDaniel, Dale Ellis, Dale Watson, Frank Lindsey, Keith Alligood and Aaron Barber. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. The family may be contacted at 1379 Buckeye Road in East Dublin.

My Condolences to the McDaniel family. My grandmother Mamie McDaniel Allen was Grayson Lenword McDaniel Aunt. I just recently found Oscar Felton McDaniel. I'm so sorry I was too late to meet Grayson.
