Andrew Ramsey Scarborough

Andrew Ramsey Scarborough, age 80, of East Dublin, passed away on September 4, 2019, following an extended illness.

Services for Mr. Scarborough will be held at Union Baptist Church on Thursday, September, 5th 2019 at 11:00AM with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until funeral hour at the church. Rev. Mike Mertz will officiate.

Andy was born on August 24, 1939 in Dublin, GA. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1959 until 1961 as a Trumpeter. He retired from the Warner Robins Air Force Base and was the owner of Scarborough Radio and TV service. Mr. Scarborough was a member of Union Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; Martha and Guy Scarborough; four brothers, Fred, Ray, Joe, and Corkey Scarborough; two sisters, Guynelle Fordyce and Neysa Martin.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Betty Johnson Scarborough; son and daughter in law, Shaun Scarborough (Brandi), and two grandchildren, Emily and Megan Scarborough.  

The family will be at the home of Andrew and Betty Scarborough, 1418 Hwy 199 South, East Dublin.
