Annie Rae Johnston Howard

Annie Rae Johnston Howard, age 82, of Dudley, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017.

Mrs. Howard was born in Laurens County to the late George Clifford and Beatrice Veal Johnston. She was a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Robinson Howard; sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Bill Russell and brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Scrap Johnston.

She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Allen (Larry), and Brenda Allen (Donnie), both of Dudley; son, Bruce Howard (Mary Ann McLeod), of Eastman; grandchildren, Chad Allen (Autumn), of Dudley, Cristie Cannon (Travis), of Chester, John Allen, of Dudley and Justin Howard (Erin), of Dublin; great-grandchildren, Abbey and Anna Allen, of Dudley, Matthew and Levi Cannon, of Chester, and Haley Howard, of Dublin, and several nieces and nephews including; Ann Buckins (John), of Dublin, Betty Sue Thomas (Mike), of Sharpsburg, GA, and Gary Russell (Patty), of Dudley.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, December 10^th in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Tommy Veal will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Chad Allen, John Allen, Justin Howard, Travis Cannon, Steve Buckins, and Lee Thomas.
