Barbara Ann (Kight) Sapp

Services for Barbara Ann Sapp, age 76, of Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Billy Daws and Rev. Brad Waters will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until funeral hour on Wednesday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sapp was a member of Dudley Baptist Church and the Duggan Weaver Sunday School Class. She retired from Easter Seals and loved spending time with her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Sapp was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Sapp; son, Shawn D. Sapp, and parents, C.T. and Hester Ward Kight. Barbara passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Nicholas Pileggi of Dudley; son and daughter-in-law, Phil and Karen Phillips of Dudley; daughter and son-in-law, Vanessa and Tim Carter of Madison; nine grandchildren, Amy Pileggi of Dudley, Lindsey Carr (Grayson) of Cumming, Ben Carter (Rachel) of Watkinsville, Don Phillips (Cami) of Americus, Andrew Phillips (Victoria) of Hazlehurst, Bryant Phillips of Jesup, and Ivey Phillips, Joshua Phillips and Coleman Phillips of Dudley; 4 great-grandchildren, sister, Mary Hoyer of Dudley, and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ben Carter, Don Phillips, Andrew Phillips, Bryant Phillips, Chris Arnold, Jamie Arnold, Ivey Phillips, Joshua Phillips and Coleman Phillips.
