Bernice (Barwick) Coleman

Bernice Barwick Coleman, age 93, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at Serenity Place.  She was born November 18, 1925 in Palatka, Florida.  She lived most of her life in Laurens County.  She was a member of Resurrection Assembly of God.  She was a devoted mother who loved her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren dearly. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, 6 brothers, a sister, and a son, Perry Pullen.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, William Truitt Coleman, children; Gary Pullen, Jo Ann (Charlie) Bush, Terry (Liz) Pullen, and Eddie Pullen, grandchildren; Kim Carlisle, Chris (Jennifer) Pullen, Sean (Kim) Bush, Angie (Matt) Hasty, Michelle Downey and Rev. Chuck Bush.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 16, 2019, at Resurrection Assembly of God with private interment to follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Chuck Bush will officiate.

Matt Hasty, Sean Bush, Chris Pullen, Condell Carter, Sam Williams, and John V. Thigpen will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
