Brenda (Ward) Mullis

Brenda Ward Mullis, age 68, of Rentz, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Pleasant Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Rentz Cemetery. Rev. Dwayne Bedingfield and Rev. Keith Collins will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until funeral hour at the church on Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Wendell Lawrence, Davey Lawrence, Ken Padgett, Vince Renew, Randy Stone, and Mike Ward.

Mrs. Mullis was a member of Brewton Baptist Church. She retired as bakery manager for Food World after many years of dedicated service. She was a talented baker and cake decorator who was loved by all her customers. She was a friend to all and a loving mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by sons, Jeffrey and Christopher Mullis, and her parents, Odell Ward and Ezell Mullis.

Survivors include her husband, John Mullis, of Cadwell; son, Lynn (Heather) Mullis, of Dublin; daughter, Nannette (Randy) Thomas, of Cadwell; grandchildren, Brittany (Ken) Padgett, of Dublin, Aranda (Vince Renew) Thomas, of Cadwell, and CJ Mullis, Tiffany Mullis, and Tabatha Mullis, all of Dublin; brothers, Ronnie (Vickie) Bedingfield, of Dublin and Vonnie (Dorothy) Ward, of Tennille; sister, Jan (Keith) Roberson, of Rentz; best friends, Lynn (Randy) Stone and Debbie Henderson, all of Dublin, and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Serenity Hospice Foundation, 520 Hillcrest Parkway, Dublin, GA 31021.
