Brenda (Robinson) Payne

Brenda Robinson Payne, age 71, of Dublin, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019.

Mrs. Payne was a native of Laurens County and daughter of the late Horace and Ruby Mae Wiggins Robinson. She worked at the Georgia Department of Labor before going to work with the Georgia Department of Corrections, where she was employed until her retirement. Mrs. Payne was a member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest B. Payne; nephew, Scott Brown; brother-in-law, Joe Brown, and brother, Maynard Robinson. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Sylvia P. Brown, of Dublin, and several cousins.

Services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, August 16, 2019 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Northview Cemetery. Rev. Robert Rogers and Rev. Jay Moore will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00AM until funeral hour.
