Carl Austerlitz Obituary

Carl F. Austerlitz passed away unexpectedly on April 13, 2019 at Fairview Park Hospital, Dublin, GA, at 80 years of age.

Carl is survived by his loving daughter, Kayla Marie, and her husband, Mark Totte; grandson, Charlie, and loved by other family members including; Kimberly Tyson, Mia Villarreal, Marilyn Drummond, and relatives in Maryland, New York, and Florida. Carl will also be dearly missed by his beloved feline companions, Pumpkin and Little One.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, John Sylvan and Esther Sarah Austerlitz.

Carl was a pharmacist by trade, graduating from George Washington Univ., in Wash. D.C. where he grew up. He began work initially at his family's pharmacy, Austerlitz Pharmacy on Dupont Circle; then Georgetown Univ. Hospital, and later in the Air Force at McClennan AFB - Sacramento, CA,. He then started a long career with the Veteran Administration, becoming Chief of Pharmacy Svcs. for a number of years and retiring at Carl Vinson Med. Ctr., Dublin, Georgia.
