Charles Darden, age 64, of East Dublin, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2018.
Mr. Darden was born in Montgomery County. He was a lifelong resident of Treutlen County but retired to Laurens County. He was a welder by trade and employed by Dublin Industrial of Dublin. Mr. Darden was preceded in death by his father, Levi Darden; mother, Martha Mae Barwick; son, Levi Charles Darden; brother, James Darden; sister, Lillian Joiner and grandson, Mathew Cole Darden.
Survivors include his girlfriend, Brenda Green, of East Dublin; daughters, Kimbey O’Neal and husband, Tim O’Neal of Dublin, Mindy Carroll of Johnson Corner; son, Mathew Darden and wife, Jessica of Lyons; granddaughters, Patience Tyson, Charlie Mae O’Neal, Makayla Carroll, Madison Carroll, and Brenna Howell; grandsons, Timothy O’Neal, Tommy O’Neal, Cameron Carroll, Davis Howell, Caleb Howell, Cooper Darden, and Abram Darden; great-granddaughter, Delilah Harper Wilkes; sisters, Rosemary Lamp of Soperton and Martha Kersey and husband Benton of Reidsville; brother, Lenton Darden of Soperton, and several nieces and nephews.
No public services will be held. The family requests no flowers, and donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 1160 Forsyth St., Macon GA 31201 or via the website online.
