Debra S. Hobbs

Services for Debra S. Hobbs will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Mount Zion Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the Rentz Cemetery with Rev. Jody Martin officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hobbs was a native of Laurens County.  She was the daughter of the late Talmadge and Levon Evans. She was retired from Mohawk.  Mrs. Hobbs was of the Baptist Faith and a longtime member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Rentz. She was a full time Nana and loved spending time with her family.  A special thanks to all the family and friends that helped her through her journey.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Hobbs, children; Michael (Morgan) Hobbs, Jessica Hobbs Wilkes, sister; Pam (David) Couey, grandchildren; Devin Hobbs, Caleb Hobbs, Reid Hobbs, Kaiden Wilkes, Ryan White, brother in law; Clem Hobbs, Jr., sisters in law; Mary Jane (Kenny) Culpepper and Joanne Baggett.

Keith Roberson, Andy Smith, Ray Clements, Tony McCoy, Danny Evans, and Billy Evans will serve as pallbearers.

The family will be at the home of Michael and Morgan Hobbs, 1539 Mark Wood Road, Dexter.
