Dianne (Alligood) Braswell

Dianne Alligood Braswell, age 69, of Soperton, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018.

Ms. Braswell was born in Laurens County and was a former employee of J.P. Stevens. She was of the Baptist faith and has owned and operated several retail businesses over the years. She was preceded in death by her father, Stuart “Sunnie” Alligood, and son-in-law, Darrell Harrell.

Survivors include her mother, Lucille Alligood, of Dublin; children, Debbie Anderson, of Bluffton, SC, Connie Harrell, Warren Braswell, Jr., Barbara Powell (Brad), all of Dublin, Warren Braswell, Jr., and Kathy Braswell, both of Soperton; grandchildren, Krystal Heuett (Daniell), of Elabelle, Dalton Anderson, of Bluffton, SC, Dustin Harrell (Coley), of Newnan, Jesse Harrell, Brandi Braswell, Ashleigh Wood (Nick), and Warren Braswell, III (Delia), all of Dublin, Zoey Braswell, of Soperton, Samantha Powell, of Dublin, Jossie Sellers and Kassie Sellers, both of Soperton; great-grandchildren, Robert Heuett and Jasmine Heuett, both of Ellabelle, Collier Harrell, of Newnan, Josh Perry, Gavin Perry, Mackenzie Wood, Brayden Wood, and Audrie Braswell, all of Dublin; sister, Linda Gale Hall (Charlie), of Wrightsville, and numerous other extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Thursday, June 7, 2018  at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 8, 2018 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Alligood Cemetery. Rev. Gene Hemingway will officiate.

Warren Braswell, III “Trey”, Brad Powell, Dustin Harrell, Jesse Harrell, Nick Wood, Dalton Anderson, and Daniel Heuett will serve as pallbearers.
