Doris Laverne (Roland) Morton

Services for Doris Laverne Morton, age 70, of East Dublin, will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 16, 2018 in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Bracewell Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Morton was a retired hairdresser and a member of the Sanctuary Church.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.  Mrs. Morton was preceded in death by her father and her mother, Leola Arnold Roland; daughter, Pamela Morton; brother, Linder Roland; and sister, Bobbie Kemp Gilliard.

Survivors include her son, Chad (Jennifer) Morton, of East Dublin; brother, Algie (Gloria) Roland, of Macon; grandchildren, Blake Morton, of East Dublin, Karlee (Dusty) Nix, of Dublin, and Katie Waldrep, of East Dublin; great grandchildren, Bryson Nix, Kennedy Nix, and Rylee Waldrep; and several nieces and nephews.
