Edna Powell Obituary

Edna Shiver Powell, age 76, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, April 27, 2019 with her family. She leaves behind a husband of 56 years, M.R., three daughters and their husbands, Stephanie (Alan), Caroline (Tanner) and Ashley (Todd) and eight grandchildren; Michael, Zac, Avery, Logan, Connor, Callista, Jake and Ty. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM.

Edna’s grandson Michael C. Caneega will officiate at her ceremony. She will be laid to rest at the Georgia Military Veterans Cemetery in Milledgeville.
