Emery Lee Freeman

 The Rev. Emery Lee Freeman, age 86, of Irwinton, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 19, 2018.

Services will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, GA at 1:00PM. Rev. Larry Rowland will officiate the chapel service. The family will receive friends before the service starting at 9:00AM until 10:00AM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Rev. Freeman served in the United States Army. He ministered at many nursing homes for 35 years and was the pastor of Beaulah Springs Congregational Holiness Church. He retired as a mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew Freeman and Ollie Lee Johnson, son, Steve Freeman, brothers, Gordon Freeman, John Freeman, Everette Freeman, sisters, Margaret Freeman, Goldie Mae Freeman, Pauline Clark.

Survivors include his wife Ruth Freeman of Irwinton, son, T.J. Shuler (Nikki) of Rentz, daughters, Melisa High of Sherzt, TX, Priscilla Woliver of Melborn, FL, Cindy Haw of Orlando, FL, sisters, Nettie Freeman, Ruby McClumg, and Juanita Harkleroad (John), brothers, Donald Freeman (Agnes) and James Freeman (Linda), grandchildren, Mattie Shuler, Brendan Shuler, Jared Woliver, Jacob Woliver, Lia Woliver, Kyla High, Darrien High, Sara Rabel, Chloe Haw.
