Emory H. Adams

Services for Emory H. Adams, age 65, of Dublin, will be held in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 30, 2019.  Burial will follow at Centerville Baptist Church Cemetery in Montrose. The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. He passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019. 

Emory was born on August 12, 1954 and was a lifelong resident of Laurens County. He was retired from Middle Georgia Easter Seals.  He was a caring, loving father, husband and friend and will be dearly missed by his family and anyone who knew him.  Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his parents; Wade Adams and Evelynn Evans; stepfather, Richard Evans, and a brother, Joe Adams.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Angie Adams; daughters, Kayla Adams and Taylor Adams; sisters, Denise (Donnie) Mullis of Rentz, and Sharon Greene of East Dublin; brothers, Jack (Paula) Adams, Ronnie Adams, and Greg (Denise) Adams, all of Montrose, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dustin Adams, Jeff Green, Tyler Green, Trevor Green, David Thomas and Lee Harper will serve as pallbearers.
