Farrel Hanson

John “Farrel” Hanson, age 70, of Adrian, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at his residence.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the Garden of Prayer Assembly of God in Adrian, GA. Pastor Bobby Miller will officiate.

Mr. Hanson enjoyed hunting reading and watching westerns. He was preceded in death by his father, John Lindal Hanson and brother, Larry Hanson.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Sterling Hanson, of Adrian; daughter, Andrea Byous (Shane), of Milledgeville; mother, Sara Lumpkin Hanson, of Fort Valley; brother, Keith Hanson, of Fort Valley; sister-in-law, Annette Hanson, of Fort Valley; step-daughter, Carla Higgs (Edwin), of East Dublin; step-sons, Stan Dollar, of East Dublin and Chris Dollar (Patty), of Wrightsville; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
