Glen Karl Manning

Memorial Services for Glen Karl Manning, age 61, of Sandersville, will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, September 13, 2019, in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Rev. Kin Clark will officiate.  The family will receive friends before the service beginning at 6:00 PM.  Mr. Manning died Tuesday, September 10, 2019.

Mr. Manning was born in Laurens County and graduated from Dublin High School.  He was a member of Pine Forest United Methodist Church and an employee of Utilicon.  Mr. Manning was a drummer with E. G. Kight, Chris Anderson, The Buttercats, and several other bands.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles with his wife, Cherie.

Mr. Manning was preceded in death by his parents, Troy Lee and Lyma Lord Manning, and brother, Randy Manning. 

Survivors include his wife, Cherie Manning, of Sandersville; children, Ben Manning, of San Franciso, CA,  Kelly Manning, of New Orleans, LA; step-daughter, Brittany Clark, of Dublin; grandchild, Cameron Clark, of Dublin; brothers, Mike Manning, of Dublin, and Buster (Jo) Manning, of Dudley;  sister, Lee Ann (Billy) Nash, of Dudley; and several nieces and nephews.
