Glynn D. Mullis

Glynn D. Mullis, age 72, of Dublin, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018.

Mr. Mullis was a deacon of Jefferson Street Baptist Church and member of the Dublin Civitan Club.  In 1972, Glynn opened his own business, Mullis Electrical Supply, and served his community for many years through his business. He loved to travel and was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Mr. Mullis was preceded in death by his parents, Prentice and Ozelle Horne Mullis, and a sister, Diane Brown.

Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Yvonne Mullis, of Dublin; daughters, Keela Brownlee (Doug), of Dublin and Karla Hitt (David), of Jefferson; son, Brandon Mullis, of Dublin; grandchildren, Lindsey Knight (Josh), Karly Brownlee, Kameron Brownlee, Katie Hitt, Nate Hitt, Jessica Mullis, and Asher Fountain; sisters, Linda Harvey (Fred), Sandra McCollough, and Jane Klassen (Tom), all of Dublin, and several nieces and nephews.

Services for Mr. Mullis will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Jefferson Street Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Darren Talley and Rev. Jay Moore will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until funeral hour at the church.
