Gwendolyn Shirley Maddox

Gwendolyn Shirley Maddox, age 73, of Dublin, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, January 19, 2018 in Dublin Memorial Gardens.  Rev. George Grimes will officiate.

Mrs. Maddox was born February 6, 1944 in Laurens County to the late Ernest Lenord Gore and the late Maxine Yarbrough Gore. She retired from Carl Vinson VA Medical Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Gore.

Survivors include her son, Tom Maddox, of Athens and ex husband, Thomas “Shirt” Maddox, of Dublin.
