Inez Clark Romine

Service for Inez Clark Romine, age 92, of Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at First United Methodist Church.  Burial will follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Bob Williams and Rev. Nolon McDaniel will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.  Mrs. Romine died Monday, April 2, 2018.

Mrs. Romine was the daughter of Otha Emerson, Sr. and Jeanett Anderson Clark and a life-long native of Dublin.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class.  She worked at Southern Bell for many years.  She and her husband, Jerry Romine were the owners and operators of Romine Tile and Terrazzo Company, Inc. and Clark and Romine Inc.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Romine was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry A. Romine; brothers, Jake Clark, Bill Clark, J. B. Clark; sisters-in-law, Eveline Clark, Audey Clark, Imogene Clark, Janice Clark; and step-daughter, Marilou( Lyle) Shook.

Survivors include her siblings, Elaine C. Harris, of Savannah, Othine (Javan) Garner, of Dublin, O.E. (Gail) Clark, of Dublin, Katherine (Gene) Wells, of Macon; step-sons, Jeff (Penny) Romine, of Columbus, and Jerry Dell (Jenny) Romine, of Atlanta; several step-grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews; and faithful caregiver of eighteen years, Rosalyn Berry.

Randy Clark, Brian Clark, Sean Clark, Kenneth Clark, Bobby Clark, and Ricky McGee will serve as pallbearers.  Members of the Friendship Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.
