Janice (Neal) Pope

A memorial service for Janice Neal Pope age 75 of Wrightsville will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. 

 Mrs. Pope was a Graduate of Dublin Highschool and retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking, entertaining and helping others.  Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Glen Pope, her parents; Harold Lee Neal and Eula Shields Stone Neal, son; Floy “Bud” Holt, step-daughter; Glenda Pope, and brother Lee Neal.  She passed away Friday, December 1, 2017. 

Survivors include her daughter; Laurie Ross (Tyler Hill) of San Francisco, CA, son; Stuart (Bernette) Holt of Macon, brother, Hollis (Sara) Neal of Dublin, sister; Gayle (Moody) Oliver of Dublin, sister in law; Patsy Neal of Dublin, granddaughters, Victoria Ross and Aubrey Holt, stepchildren; Sandra Hudson and Lee Pope, both of Eatonton, several nieces and nephews.
