Janie (Barron) Thomas

Janie B. Thomas, age 77, of Dublin, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018.

Ms. Thomas was a homemaker with a social nature who enjoyed meeting people. She loved butterflies and her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Janie was preceded in death by her daughter, Dora Stallworth; parents, Hansel and Norma Grinstead Barron; brothers, Melvin Barron, Prentice Barron and O.C. Barron.

Survivors include her daughters, Tammie Bryan, of Dublin and Tina Anderson (Robert), of Rentz; grandchildren, Sara Hampton (Larry), of Washington State, Jerry Thomas, of Dexter, Jessica Thomas, of East Dublin, Anna Swearingane (Justin), of Cullowee, NC, Amy Brown and Leslie Brown, both of Rentz and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, November 16, 2018 in Rentz Cemetery with Pastor Tom Van officiating.
