Jay Parks Dollar

Jay Parks Dollar, age 61, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Serenity Hospice after a brief illness. 

Mr. Dollar worked for Mohawk Mfg. for several years.  He enjoyed fishing and was a loving and devoted son.  Parks was preceded in death by his father, M.B. Dollar.  He is survived by his mother, Doris Batey Dollar of Dublin, his brother, Jeff Dollar (Brenda) of Hinesville, GA, and several cousins and other relatives. 

 A service will be held at 3:00PM on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.  Rev. Kyle Ogelsby and Dan Childers will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until the service hour.  Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Childers, Denny Childers, Kevin Childers, Wade Webb, Bobby Dollar and Brad Dollar.
