Jimmy Bradley Padgett

Services for Jimmy Bradley Padgett, age 66, of Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 10, 2018, in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour, Wednesday at the funeral home.

Hugh Kight, Bobby Kight, Harvey Padgett, Larry Kight, Kenny Kight and Lance Padgett will serve as pallbearers. Bobby Padgett, Pat Padgett,  Wesley Maddox, Earl Wilson, Billy Kight, George Gornto and Ben Bradshaw will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Mr. Padgett was a native of Dublin.  He was a member of the New Covenant of Grace Church, and a member of the Fenerbahce Soccer Club.  Jimmy served his country his entire working life serving in the US Air Force and working in many different countries with the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). He loved the Lord with all of his heart and he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Mr. Padgett was preceded in death by his father, Bill Padgett, and a brother, Russell Padgett.

Survivors include his mother, Joyce Kight Padgett, wife; Nezahat Padgett of Dublin, daughter; Jihan (Chris) Price of Dublin, grandchildren; Christine Price, Nicholas Price, Justin Price all of Dublin, Jeannine Traynor of Manchester, CN, brother; Joey Padgett of Dublin, niece and nephews; Jennifer (Jimmy) Bordelon, Craig (Kelli) Padgett, Mitch (Tory) Padgett.
