Jo Ann Polk

Jo Ann Polk, age 53, of Dublin, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019.

Mrs. Polk was a homemaker with a kind personality. She was a loving wife, and mother. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her father, Juarez Mimbs, and brother, Wayne Dale Greenway.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Polk, of Dublin; son, Cortlind Polk, of Dublin; daughter, Caci Shepherd, of Dublin; parents, Ardelia and Rev. Henry J. Dixon, of Dublin; sisters, Nell Bush (Henry) and Hope Parker (Cale), both of Dublin; brother, Mickey Dixon (Sarah), of Dublin, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, December 16, 2019 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rentz Cemetery. Rev. W.L. Currie will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00AM until funeral hour at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Cale Parker, Josh Greenway, Henry Bush, Donnie Gay, Ricky Hayes, and Stacy Hardy.
