Joan Caroline Wehner

Joan Caroline Wehner, age 79, of Dublin, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017.

Mrs. Wehner was a member of Pine Forest United Methodist Church where she was active in the Ben Williams Sunday School Class, the Golden Notes Choir and the Senior Foresters. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother, and sister. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Williamson and Ollie Armstrong Hardee; brother, Randall Williamson; sister, Sandra Williamson; and niece, Lindsay Williamson.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Roger Wehner, of Dublin; daughter, Patti Hobbs (Donnie), of Baxley; grandson, B.J. Hobbs (Ashlee); granddaughter, Kristen Hobbs, and great-grandson, Liam Hobbs, all of Cummings; brother, Loran Williamson (Pam), of Twin City; sister, Janace Jackson (Ed), of Dublin, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Pine Forest United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Garden. Dr. Joel Dent and Rev. Wes Moye will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until funeral hour on Thursday at the church.

Pallbearers will be B.J. Hobbs, Greg Williams, Jack Collier, Johnny Warren, Christian Crowson, and Jack Foskey. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Golden Notes Choir.
