Linda Tate Moses, age 70, of Dublin, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Olivet Baptist Church. Burial will follow at 2:30 pm at Bertha Dozier Memorial Park in Montezuma, GA. Rev. David Pohto and Rev. Roy Rehberg will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Linda Tate Moses was born on Jan.16, 1949 in Macon County to the late Edgar F. Tate and Gladys Hines Tate (Johnson). She relocated to Laurens County with her family during her childhood, and this community became her lifelong home. Linda loved to laugh, fish, and occasionally rough up her younger brothers a bit. She was a member of Olivet Baptist Church. She was also a Registered Nurse and dedicated her life to the care of others. She started her career working at the old Laurens Memorial Hospital and moved on to work with the Laurens County Health Department, the Carl Vinson VA, and eventually retired from the State of Georgia. She deeply loved her family, her children and her grandchildren who brought her so much joy and laughter.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Mandi Singletary (Scot), her son, Josh Moses (Danielle) and her brothers, Bobby Tate, Randy Tate (Billie), and Mark Tate (Cheryl). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Noah Brack, Meaghan Moses, Devan Jackson, Olivia Moses, Jaxon Moses, Tori Singletary, Taylor Singletary and many nieces and nephews.
