Lindsay Ruth (Fountain) Weaver

On Saturday, April 7, 2018, Lindsay Ruth Fountain Weaver, age 34, of Rentz, went home to be with her Heavenly Father.

Lindsay was a devoted wife, and loving mother, daughter, sister, teacher, and friend. She was a West Laurens High School Alumni and a graduate of Georgia Southern University. She was a teacher at Wheeler County Elementary School and a member of Rentz Baptist Church. Her infectious smile and sweet spirit will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to have been loved by her.

Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joe and Freddie Barrett; paternal grandmother, Pat Fountain, and uncle, Mark Fountain.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis Weaver, of Rentz; children, Christopher, Kyleigh and Palmer; father, Mike Fountain (Diane), of Lawrenceville; mother, Susie Barrett Fountain, of Rentz; sister, Jessica Leigh Fountain, of Atlanta, and paternal grandparents, LaRue Fountain (Sue), of Rentz; mother and father-in-law, Jim Allen (Beverly), of Hollonville, GA.

The family will receive friends from 5:00PM until 8:00PM on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Services for Lindsay will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Rentz Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Rentz Cemetery. Rev. Tom Vann, Rev. Grady Mimbs, and Rev. Harrison Jones will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Jordan Smith, Jake Savant, Jamie Weaver, Soloman Heath, Charlie Tuttle, and Kyle Wells.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial account for Lindsay Fountain Weaver has been opened at Farmer’s State Bank at the family’s request for the benefit of Lindsay’s children.
