Mary Bridges Rowe, age 75, of Dublin passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019.
Mary was raised in Montrose and graduated from Dudley High School where she excelled in basketball. She retired from the United States District Court for the Middle District of GA. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Dublin. She loved to be with her friends, doing bible studies and traveling. She enjoyed working in the yards as evidence by her beautiful yard. Mary believed you should live every day counting your blessings and enjoying every moment, and when the music is playing don't sit out - dance. If life hands you lemons - just mix them with sugar and water, shake it up and make sweet lemonade. Hang on to the best in life and leave troubles behind. Everything is a blessing from God for His love is forever.
Mary was the daughter of the late Herbert Bridges and the late Clemmie Lord Bridges. She was preceded in death by 5 siblings, Lillie Mae Francis, Mable Thompson, Gene Bridges, Patsy Carter, and Hebert “JR” Bridges Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Monday, April 29, 2019 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 5 until 7 at the funeral home.
Survivors include her sons, Bryan Rozar (Kim) of Cadwell, Michael Rozar (Jodi) of Panama City Beach, FL, and Darron Rowe (Wendy) of Dexter; eight grandchildren, Erica Rozar, Cory Rozar (Lindsey), Jeremy Rowe (Jenna), Steven Spooner, Thomas Spooner, Josh Rozar (Brittany), Jason Rozar, and Garrett Rowe; six great grandchildren and three sisters, Ruth Raffield, Margurite Aycock, and Doris Dixon.
