McKenna Jayde Lakey

McKenna Jayde Lakey, infant daughter of Hunter and Harlie Lakey, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, May 14, 2019. McKenna was born on May 10, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Though her life was short, she was loved by many and the time spent with her will be cherished forever.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her grandparents, Dawn (Timmy) Mullis, of Dublin, John Eric (Toshia Godbee) Lakey, of Dublin, and Tammy (Monty) Young, of East Dublin; her great-grandparents, Barbara (Billy) Oglesby, of Dublin, Joann (Gary) Herndon, of Cadwell, Beth (John) Lakey, of Dublin, and Patsy (Hansel) Brinson, of East Dublin; and her aunts, uncles, and cousins.

McKenna was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jamie Judd; her great aunt, Nancy Woody Steinhauer, and her great uncle, Vance Shiver.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 16, 2019, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019, at 11:00 AM at Gay Cemetery. Pallbearers will include: Josh White, Dusty Bailey, Jerry Herndon, Tommy Thompson, Chad Herndon, and Burt Evans.
