Mertie (Wolfe) Pennington

Mertie Wolfe Pennington, age 96, of Dublin, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017.

Mrs. Pennington was of the Baptist faith; she lived in Greenville, Alabama for several years before returning to Dublin. She was employed by the state of Alabama to which she served as a secretary. She was preceded in death by her parents John Martin Wolfe and Lou Moorman Wolfe, her husband, Homer Eugene Pennington, and her brothers, James Wolfe and Oscar Wolfe.

Survivors include her daughter, Gena Pennington of Dublin, sisters, Esther Garner and Martha Flanders also of Dublin. 

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
