Ricky Maddox

Ricky Merlin Maddox, age 47, of Rentz, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018.

Mr. Maddox was born in Laurens County and was a graduate of West Laurens High School. He enjoyed coaching softball, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Ricky was a self employed taxidermist and worked in sales with AgraMed. He was a friend to many and loved his family deeply. Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Keith Maddox.

Survivors include his wife, Rachel Foskey Maddox, of Rentz; daughters, Karly and McKenzie Maddox, both of Rentz; mother, Bertie Mae Maddox, of Dexter; sister, Marlene Maddox (Chip Smith), of Rentz; niece, Haley Walker, of Savannah; mother-in-law, Dixie Maddox, of Dexter, and father-in-law, Steve Foskey, of Macon

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Baker Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Joey Diers will officiate.

Chris Herndon, Chan Alligood, Sean Collins, Joey Mullis, Chad Slaughter, and Eric Dykes will serve as pallbearers.
