Roy Bracewell, Jr.

Roy Bracewell, Jr., age 88, of Dublin, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018.

Services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Rock Springs Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Kevin Tanner will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.

Mr. Bracewell was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a retired self-employed truck driver. He was owner of Pic-Quik Market in Dublin and attended Springdale Baptist Church. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Olivia Martin Bracewell, Sr., and wife, Jean Evans Bracewell.

Survivors include his sons, Gregory Bracewell (Houda), of Charlotte, NC, Gary Bracewell, of Lawrenceville, and Michael Bracewell (Sheri), of Athens; daughter, Nancy Edwards (Kelvynn), of Dublin; grandchildren, Stephen Bracewell (Sarah), Susana Bracewell, Brad Bracewell, Olivia Bracewell, and Joshua Edwards; brother, Fred Bracewell (Shirley), of Martinez; sister, Dorothy Smith, of Warner Robins, and several nieces and nephews.
