Ruby Jean (Holt) Lampp

Ruby Jean Lampp, age 78, of East Dublin, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019.

Mrs. Lampp was born on August 17, 1941 into a farming family, and was the daughter of the late Coleman and Willie Davis Holt. She worked for Jefferson Street Baptist Church for many years and loved to read, crochet, fish, and put together puzzles. She also loved adult coloring books and her flowers and birds. She raised cockatiels and chickens, and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Duell H. Lampp, and brothers, Albert Holt and C.W. Holt.

Survivors include her sons, David Lampp (Angela), of Dublin and Doug Lampp (Michelle) and Scott Lampp (Starla), both of East Dublin; grandchildren, Joey Cason, Joshua Lampp, Chris Lampp (Mallori), Landon Lampp, Katie Lampp, Jacob Lampp, Emily Graham (Bradlee), Scott Lampp, Jr. (Savannah), Cody Lampp, and Emily Lampp; great-grandchildren, Easton Lampp, Amrie Lampp, and Greyson Lampp; brothers, Doyle Holt (Minnie) and Argene Holt (Judy); sister, Kemper Hosford (James); dog, Mrs. Piggy, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lampp Family Cemetery. Rev. J.W. Wallis will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Scott Lampp, Joshua Lampp, Chris Lampp, Landon Lampp, and Jacob Lampp.
