Services for Ruby May Nalley, age 92, of East Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 20, 2018, in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Tommy Veal and Rev. Jason Patterson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Nalley passed away at Serenity Hospice on Monday, December 17, 2018.
Mrs. Nalley was co-owner of Nalley’s Bait and Tackle and a member of Gethsemane Methodist Church. She was a wonderful mother, friend, sister, and homemaker, who loved cooking and serving her church family and others. She also loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W.P. Nalley; daughter, Katherine Runell Nalley; parents, Georgia Smith and Horace Lindsey; brother, Allen Lindsey, and sisters, Mattie Lou Lindsey Giles and Madolyn Howington.
Survivors include her children, Janice Nalley, of East Dublin and Paul Nalley (Hazel), of Kite; grandchildren, Brian Alan Nalley (Bethany), of Soperton and Erin Renee Patterson (Jason), of East Dublin; great grandchildren, Anna Nalley, Matthew Nalley, Luke Nalley, Jacob Patterson, and Andrew Patterson; sisters, Linda Cook (James), of Byron and Betty Ford, of Macon; brother, Carl Lindsey, of Macon, and several nieces and nephews.
