Sara Estelle (Collins) Gregory

Sara Estelle Collins Gregory, 88, of Dublin, Georgia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, September 26, 2019. She is remembered for her faithful membership in the Bellevue Road Dublin Church of Christ, love for her garden, silly sense of humor, and servant’s heart in caring for her family.

A lover of fashion, Sara made many a lifelong friends in her years at Friedlander’s and Hanger’s boutiques in the Dublin Mall. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Flora Mae Collins (Dockery); husband, Edwin Gregory; son, Randall Gregory, and daughter, Marcia Gregory Waller.

She is survived by brothers, William Collins, and Terrell (Wyness) Collins; sister, Dorothy Jordan; her daughter, Ginger (Van) Murphy; son Mac (Pam) Gregory; grandchildren, Brandi (Jeff) Upshaw, Jenna Murphy (Kristin), Jordan (Kyle) Milling, Macie Gregory, and Randy Gregory; great grandchildren, Brynn Upshaw, Rayna Upshaw, Riley Lindsay, Keelan Angermeier, Jackson Angermeier and Braylon Gregory.

Services for Mrs. Gregory will be held graveside at Dublin Memorial Gardens on Saturday, September 28, 2019 beginning at 3:30 PM. Minister Johnie Scaggs, Jr. will officiate. The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home from 2:00 until 3:00 PM the day of the service.
