Totsie Coleman

Totsie Young Coleman was “serenaded by angels” into Heaven on Friday, May 10, 2019.   Totsie was born in Alamo, Georgia, on February 23, 1934, to the late William Herbert Young and Nora Redding Young.   She lived most of her life in Dublin and Rentz, Georgia.  She retired as a supervisor at Forstman in East Dublin, Georgia, and then began her second career at Pioneer Credit. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Rev. William H. (Buddy) Young and J. C. Young; her sisters, Hazel Martin and Ann Young; and her nephew Rev. Jerry Martin. 

She was a long-time active member at Rentz Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Bobby Coleman, of Rentz, Georgia, and her sister Willa Mae (Lamar) Beckman of Wrightsville Ga, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation for Mrs Coleman will be at Rentz Baptist Church, Monday, May 13,2019 from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour, with funeral service to be held at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery at Cadwell.
