Adalene Wynn Fulford, age 78 of Dublin passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2014. Mrs. Adalene was born January 16, 1936 in Glenwood, Georgia to the late Willie Augustus Wynn and the late Syble Elizabeth Bracewell Wynn. She was a 1955 graduate of Glenwood High School and a homemaker. She was a member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church and an avid sports fan. Mrs. Fulford was a loving mother, grandmother, and a great friend to many. Adalene was a loyal wife for 47 years to the late Billie Q. Fulford. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Norma Jean Cheek and Ethel Edwards and brother, Jack Wynn. Survivors include her children, Gayle (Randy) Edney of Rentz, Donna Cartie of Dexter and Jeffery Fulford of Dublin; brother, Ralph (Julie) Wynn of California; grandchildren, Sarah E. (Nathan) Evans, Jenny C. (Josh) Woodard, Danny (Maggie) Cartie, Laura E. (David) Houser, Ben (Meagan Soles) Edney and Michael (Tiffany) Cartie; great-grandchildren, Norah, Peyton, Jameson, Caleb, Gage, David, Katie, Faith, Abby, Damon, and Logan; and her beloved dog "Molly". Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens.
