Services for Alene Graham Wilkes, age 91 of Rockledge, will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, January 4, 2014 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Blue Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Al Soles and Rev. Ike J. Branch will officiate. She passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Mrs. Wilkes was the daughter of the late Lanier Graham and Lollie Drew Graham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Wilkes, sister, Marguerite Graham, and three brothers, Edwin Graham, Leroy Graham, and Curtis Graham. Mrs. Wilkes was a member of Wilkes Church of the Nazarene where she served as a Sunday school teacher. Survivors include two sons, J.C. Wilkes (Martha) of Milledgeville and Cliff Wilkes (Marilyn) of Coconut Creek, FL, three grandsons, Clay Wilkes (Melissa) of Cleveland, OH, Jeff Wilkes (Jessica) of Milledgeville, and Kevin Wilkes of Coconut Creek, FL, two granddaughters, Cindy Tipton (Chris) of Milledgeville and Kimberly Basilio (Aroldo) of Coconut Creek, FL, six great grandchildren, Alyssa Wilkes, Brianna Tipton, Bailey Tipton, Mason Wilkes, Hayden Wilkes, and Silvio Basilio, sister, Betty Ann Keen of Rockledge, and two brothers, Weyman Graham of Dublin and Benny Graham of Rockledge. Kevin Wilkes, Jeff Wilkes, Chris Tipton, Mark Keen, Jeff Starley, and Harry Graham will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 3, 2014 at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home from 6:00PM until 8:00PM.
