Alma Haywood Woods, age 90 of Dublin, GA, passed away to her heavenly home on Sunday, December 17, 2017.

Mrs. Woods was born December 20, 1926 in Johnson, County to the late Rubin Atwell and Mary Smith Haywood. She was retired from Forstman and a member of the First Church of Nazarene of Dublin.

She treasured her relationship with God and family who take comfort in knowing that she is in heaven reunited with her husband, Elton Woods; son, Ronnie Thompson; grandson, Justin Mallory; sisters, Bessie Thompson, Maude Knight, Lily Clements, and Lois Davis; and brothers, Charlie, Herbert, and Daniel Haywood.

Mrs. Woods is survived by her daughters; Lillian (Glynn) Boatright and Anita (Billy) Mallory; daughter-in-law, Susan Thompson; sister, Irene (Leonard) Sapp; grandchildren, Natalie (Kenny) Autry, Joshua Mallory, and Robyn Cook; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Chase Autry, Mackenzie Mallory, Owen, Liam, and Ethan Cook, and numerous niece and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 1:30PM until 2:30PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 3:00PM at Northview Cemetery with Rev. Larry Waldrep and Rev. Myron Wise officiating.
