Services for Angela Diane Johnson, age 42 of Dublin, will be held at 1:30 PM Monday, December 12, 2011 at Union Baptist Church. Rev. Stephen Kyzer and Rev. Robbie Passmore will officiate. Burial will follow in Minter Cemetery. Ms. Johnson was born in Dublin and was a retired mail carrier. She was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Ellis Johnson, and her grandparents, Alvin and Bernice Johnson, and Bill and Elaine Soles. Ms. Johnson died Friday, December 9, 2011. Survivors include her mother, Janice Johnson of East Dublin; brother, Alvin (Angie) Johnson of East Dublin; two nieces, Lacey Warren Baker of Allentown, GA and Daisey " Bean" Johnson of East Dublin; nephew, Charley Johnson of East Dublin; three aunts, Ruth Johnson of East Dublin, Betty (Andy) Scarborough of East Dublin, and Phyllis Covington of Ellabell, GA; three uncles, Paul (Geraldine) Johnson of Dublin; Mickey (Mabre) Johnson of Dublin; and Luther (Jean) Mimbs of Bradenton, FL and many other family members and good friends. Pallbearers will be Chris Johnson, Richard Cathcart, Teryn Jackson, Tony McCant, Mike Wynn, Craig Skinner, Michael Carter and Todd McCant. The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home Sunday December 11, 2011 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM.
