Obituary

Funeral Services for Mrs. Annette Carter, age 81, will be held Wednesday November 21, 2012 at 11 A.M. at Gethsemane Methodist Church with burial to follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Pastors Tommy Veal and Sidney Davidson will officiate. Mrs. Carter was born April 24, 1931 in Camilla, Georgia, and was the daughter of the late Johnny Elmer Kearns and Vernice Kearns Harrison and Richard Harrison. She was a member of Gethsemane Methodist Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class. Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Mr. W.E. "Buddy" Carter. Mrs. Carter passed away on November 18, 2012 at Serenity Hospice Mrs. Carter was a homemaker, loving Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother affectionately known as "Momsie" by family and friends. Survivors include her sons, Ronnie Carter and Mike (Wanda) Carter; grandsons, Rusty (Michelle) Carter, Ryan (Ashley) Carter, Jeremy (Amy) Carter and granddaughters, Niki Carter Humphries, Jennifer (Sidney) Moore Davidson, Julie (Anthony) Moore Angulo and Jamie (James) Carter Muller and great grandchildren, Shelby & Chandler Carter, Peyton Carter, Acie Carter & Sarah Hynote and Harley & Tatum Humpries & A.J., Jared & Joshua Davidson & Adan Angulo & Shelby and Storm Muller. She is also survived by two sisters, Johnnie Sesco and Judy(Earnest) Flournoy and a sister in law Lillian Langdale. Rusty Carter, Ryan Carter, Jeremy Carter, Anthony Angulo, Danny Anglin and A.J. Davidson will serve as Pall Bearers. Honorary Pall Bearers will be members of the Gethsemane Church Friendship Sunday School Class. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 20, 2012, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
