Services for Artie Lee Tuten, age 61, of Rentz, will be held at 3:00PM on Friday, September 14, 2012 at Baker Baptist Church. Burial will be private. Rev. Joey Diers and Rev. Bobby Russell will officiate. The family will receive friends from Friday from 2:00PM until funeral hour at the church. Mr. Tuten was a native of Pierce County, Georgia. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of Baker Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father Howard Tuten and his mother, Louise Courson Tuten. Mr. Tuten passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Tuten of Rentz; children, Stevie Barber of Rentz; Skip (Heather) Barber of Rentz; Marty (Dennis) Courson of Blackshear, GA; Lemuel (Pam) Tuten of Patterson, GA; Brad (Kim) Tuten of Waresboro, GA; Brandi (Brian) O'neal of Hoboken, GA and Anna Tuten of Brunswick, GA; sister, Debra (Jeff) Sawyer of Jacksonville, FL; 15 grandchildren, Deanna (Daniel) Blankenship, Samantha Doggett, Suzanne Doggett, Savannah Tuten, Sydnee Tuten, Haleigh Barber, Anna Barber, Raleigh Tuten, Daly Tuten, Lucas Tuten, Spencer O'neal, Benji O'neal, Courtney Robinson, Coty Robinson and Dusty Williams; great-grandchild, Jeydan Kael Blankenship. Pallbearers will be Claude Barbee, Daniel Blankenship, Kirk Register, Dan Walker, Dennis Courson and Joey Carter. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Baker Baptist Church Building Fund, 1610 Baker Church Road, Rentz, GA 31075.
