Services for Atha Watson Knight, age 86 of Cadwell will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Greg Lowery will officiate. Mrs. Knight was born in Winter Park, FL. She was the daughter of the late Clarence J. Watson and the late Ados Gay Watson. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and the Ladies Sunday School Class. Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her husband, David Wilson Knight, her step mother, Alberta R. Watson, brothers, Ollis Watson, Julian Watson and sister, Annie Mae Coleman. She is survived by her daughter, Ann K. Brown of Cadwell, granddaughter, Jennifer B. (James) Lee of Cadwell, sisters, Betty (Artrell) McCullars, Doris (Wayne) Evans, Judy (Larry) Gilreath all of Dublin and a brother, Russell (Virginia) Watson of Eastman, several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Eddie Watson, Bob Gay, Reggie McCullars, Mike Evans, Jeffery Coleman, and Robbie Vann. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
