Services for Audie Fulford, age 96, of Rockledge, will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 5, 2014, in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Blue Springs Cemetery. Rev. Ike Branch and Rev. Al Soles will officiate. Mrs. Fulford died Sunday, March 2, 2014. Mrs. Fulford was the daughter of the late Lawson Wilkes and the late Nolia Stewart Wilkes. She was a member of Wilkes Nazarene Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Fulford, son, Ronnie Fulford, and grandson, Larry Fulford. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Sallie McLendon; granddaughter, Sandra Horton; great grandchildren, Jason (Nicole) Horton, Ashley Horton; great-great-grandchildren, Luke Horton, Jayden Todd, Leah Horton, all of Rockledge; and several nieces and nephews. Danny Shepherd, Brian Smith, John V. Thigpen, Wendell Thigpen, Glenn Townsend, Donald Warnock, and Mark Warnock, will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the home of Sallie McLendon. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
