Services for Avery Klaire Dixon, age 4 weeks, will be held 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Plainfield Baptist Church Cemetery in Dodge County. Dr. Joel Dent will officiate. Avery was the infant daughter of Michael Dixon and Kaitlyn Van Valkenburg. She was born August 5, 2011. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her grandparents, Andy and Kerri Van Valkenburg, of Dublin, and Jimmy and Lynn Dixon, of Dublin; great-grandparents, Robert and Judy Armstrong of Prescot, AZ, Cheryl Van Valkenburg of Barnesville,GA, and Larry and Cristie Van Valkenburg of Adrian, MI, Ernest and Celia Jones of Dublin, and Weldon and Janice Dixon of Cochran; uncles, Hayden Van Valkenburg, of Dublin, Matthew Van Valkenburg, of Dublin, and aunt, Casey (Derek) Warren, of Cochran. She is also survived by other family members. She was and always will be our family's special angel. Adam Logue, Casey Cullen, Wade Smith, and Jim Daniel will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Townsend Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
