Barbara Faye Cofield Evans, age 68, of Dublin, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 3, 2017 in Cedar Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Andy Brownley will officiate. Mrs. Evans was born in Laurens County to the late Sam and Gladys Curry Cofield. She was a member of Pine Forest United Methodist Church, but currently attended Cedar Grove United Methodist. Barbara retired from Forstmann & Co., where she worked in payroll. She was a devoted wife, and loving mother, and grandmother. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, James H. Evans, of Dublin; daughter, Tonya Adcock (Matt), of Dublin; son, Ken Evans (Kim), of Dublin; granddaughter, Katie Adcock, of Dublin; grandsons, Tanner and Garrett Evans, both of Dublin; sisters, Bryleen Faulk, of Cedar Grove and Christine Taylor, of Rentz, and several nieces and nephews.
