Funeral services for Barbara A. Radney, age 62 of Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 10, 2010 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Northview Cemetery. Rev. Randy Mimbs will officiate. Mrs. Radney was a Baptist by faith and a devoted, wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Hutto and Willa Mae Slocumb Schupbach; brother, Edward F. Hutto; daughter and son-in-law, Lynn R. Melton and Ronnie Melton, and grandchild, Micheal E. Cook. Mrs. Radney died September 7, 2010 after an extended illness. She is survived by her husband, James Radney of Dublin; two daughters; Kim (Steven) Mitchell of Dublin and Karen (Rex) Spivey of East Dublin; five sons; Kory Radney of East Dublin, Danny Radney of Dublin, Lee (Tammy) Radney of Rentz, Kelland (Barbara) Waldrep of Dublin and Kevin Waldrep of Dexter; sister, Robin McKenzie of New Smyrna Beach, FL; brother, Troy Hutto of Macon; step-mother, Elma Hutto; 23 grandchildren,18 great-grandchildren, several step-brothers, step-sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins. Clay Melton, Chris Melton, Jordan Kelley, Jarad Kelley, Eric Cook and Jason Harden will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
