Barkwell Linder Rogers, age 74, of Dublin, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021.

Mr. Rogers was born in Laurens County on April 28, 1947. He worked with Evans Cabinet Company and was an avid outdoorsman.  He loved cooking wild game and enjoyed planting a garden and fruit trees.  Mr. Rogers never met a stranger and was one to always help anyone in need.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank "Shirt" Rogers, and Frances Barkwell Rogers; and his one true love, Hellon Rogers.

Survivors include his children, Sarah Cox (Johnny) of Dublin; Heather Smith of Dexter, and Shawn Rogers (Mandy) of East Dublin; grandchildren, Duane Orr, II, Tayler Cox (Dillon), Austin Smith (Emily), Logan Smith, Cody Rogers (Emily), Deanna Cox, Gage Rogers, Aiden Smith, Avery Rogers; great-grandchild, Holden Smith; sister, Judy Rogers; brother, Wayne Rogers, and two nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, January 3, 2022, at Evergreen United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jody Martin will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Duane Orr, II, Gage Rogers, Austin Smith, Logan Smith, and Dillion Wynn.
